About us
National Grid Ventures (NGV) is the competitive, non-regulated commercial arm of National Grid focused on accelerating the clean energy transition in the US and UK. NGV develops, operates, and invests in major utility infrastructure projects, and is looking to expand the substation team. This engineer will help support successful and on-time delivery of substation projects including supporting the capital investment plan, transmission interconnection projects, and other emerging work or new technologies. Substation projects include equipment replacement, asset separation, rebuilds and greenfield (new) substations. Please note this is a Hybrid position requiring occasional travel to company offices. Candidates must live within 50 miles of Brooklyn, NY or Waltham, MA. Job Purpose
