Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented person to join our Quality Control team as an entry level Mechanicl Inspector. In this role, you will perform mechanical inspections on incoming materials to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards. The ideal candidate is thorough, mechanically inclined, and committed to supporting a high-quality manufacturing environment.


Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to

    Perform mechanical inspections using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.).
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to verify product requirements.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Document inspection results, nonconformities, and deviations accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain calibration and proper use of inspection equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety and quality policies.


The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following

  • Understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T, and tolerance interpretation.
  • Proficiency with common mechanical inspection tools.
  • Ability to complete accurate and detailed inspection documentation.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong math skills
