About the Role We are seeking a Break Relief Operator to join our team at our Alsip, ILbakery. As a Break Relief Operator, you will be accountable for supporting continuous production by flexing across multiple manufacturing roles while maintaining productivity, food safety, and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Shift & Schedule Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 3:45 PM - 2:15 AM Weekend Availability: As required Compensation Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $22.00 Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) Provide break relief coverage across multiple production positions to support uninterrupted operations Perform duties across case erecting, packing, dough handling, mixing, operating, and palletizing functions Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, legality, and GMP standards Follow Allergen, Food Defense, and HACCP policies to ensure product integrity Partner with supervision and maintenance to support safe and reliable equipment operation Build effective working relationships to promote teamwork and operational efficiency Adapt quickly to changing production needs while maintaining performance expectations Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High school diploma or GED (preferred) Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to follow safety, food quality, and sanitation requirements Willingness to work 2nd shift hours Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Experience in food manufacturing or baking environments Exposure to GMPs, HACCP, and allergen control practices Experience operating or supporting production machinery Aspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
