THE POSITION

Located in our headquarters office in Harrisburg, this internship will be within the Bureau of Corporations and Charitable Organizations and will focus on projects to support the Bureau. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Corporations and Charitable Organizations Intern, you will gain real-world experience and make an impact behind the scenes of our dynamic business office. This position gives you the opportunity to build valuable skills, work on meaningful projects, and experience how a functional business office operates while enhancing your resume. Work involves supporting daily office operations through data entry, filing, and document management. You will be responsible for filing, reviewing, and scanning important documents; assisting with special projects that contribute to bureau-wide initiatives; as well as collaborating with team members to provide exceptional customer service. Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have the ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a positive attitude and commitment to professionalism

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Summer Internship, May through August
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Internship Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in college full-time (carrying 12 or more undergraduate credits, or 9 or more graduate credits).
  • Must be in good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher).
  • Must be currently a sophomore (or higher level) in college, in any field of study.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
