Position Summary Provide Systems Administration and technical support in the designs, development, installation and maintenance of Steinhardt Systems and services including hardware and software for all for all servers and desktop workstations. Provide Tier 3 support to Steinhardt technical support team and community. Basic network troubleshooting. Collaborate and coordinate on various projects with internal groups and departments, including NYU Central IT. Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Required Experience: 2+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Preferred Experience: 2+ years MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solution Associates) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solution Expert); CompTIA A+ (Certified P.C Technician) preferred Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of Windows and Macs Operating Systems, Experience administering Windows Server or Linux environment's, Basic Networking experience, working understanding of DNS, Active Directory. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $78,412.50 to USD $95,837.50. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
