Position Summary

The mission of the Vice President, Global Sustainability is to establish a market-leading, ASXaligned ESG program that is integrated into business strategy, transparently reports to capital markets, and measurably improves environmental performance, responsible gaming, and social impact across global operations, over time.

The VP, Global ESG is a strategic global leader responsible for designing, executing, and advancing the company's environmental, social, and governance strategy. This role ensures that our operations, products, and corporate practices align with regulatory expectations, evolving ASX ESG disclosure requirements, stakeholder expectations, and the highest standards of responsible gaming.

This executive serves as a key leader for ESG globally, shaping the long-term ESG roadmap, influencing global regulatory and industry practices, and embedding sustainability and social responsibility into the fabric of the company's culture and decision-making.

ESG Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop a comprehensive, multi-year global ESG strategy aligned with business objectives, ASX governance standards, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Lead ESG transformation, including climate impact, responsible gaming, ethical governance, supply chain responsibility, and social impact.

  • Partner with executive leadership to embed ESG principles into company culture, operations, and product development.

Governance, Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee the publication of accurate and timely ESG, CSR, modern slavery, and sustainability reporting aligned with ASX disclosure requirements, ISSB/IFRS standards, and other applicable frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements including environmental sustainability regulations, responsible gaming mandates, and ethical business governance.

  • Serve as a liaison to the Board of Directors' ESG / Sustainability Committee; prepare briefing materials, risk updates, and annual ESG performance reviews.

Environmental Stewardship

  • Work with the business units to develop and drive programs targeting energy efficiency, carbon reduction, product sustainability, and waste reduction across global operations.

  • Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to embrace environmentally responsible sourcing and production practices.

Social Responsibility & Engagement

  • Lead global responsible gaming strategy and ensure adherence to regulatory expectations in the US, Australia, and other international markets.

  • Work alongside our broader corporate affairs team, to best support community engagement, employee volunteering, DEI, and other initiatives.

  • Implement, educate and oversee all other programs, requiring specific ASX reporting requirements.

ESG Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and work with business to mitigate associated ESG risks linked to regulatory shifts, climate exposure, supply chain vulnerabilities, and reputational considerations.

  • Maintain a robust ESG risk register in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Enterprise Risk.

Cross-Functional Influence & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a visible point of contact for investors, proxy advisors, regulators, industry associations, and NGOs on ESG topics.

  • Benchmark peers to elevate program competitiveness (closing any identified gaps, in a commercially compliant manner).

  • Partner with HR, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Game Studios, and Operations to champion ESG requirements and identifying opportunities, in the pursuit of continuous improvement.

  • Lead ESG training and awareness programs for employees and senior leaders.

Integrate ESG into Investor Relations and Global Communications

  • Partner with Investor Relations to ensure ESG narratives support valuation discussions, earnings materials, and analyst engagement. This includes coordinate with Global Communications to drive consistent external messaging

  • Ensure all disclosures meet ASX requirements and support investor communications and valuation

Qualifications

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science/Engineering, Public Policy, Business, Finance, Communications, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, MPA) preferred.

  • Relevant training or credentials in ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB/ISSB, TCFD), are a plus.

Required

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate responsibility, governance, or enterprise risk management.

  • Proven experience leading ESG or sustainability programs for a global public company (ASX experience strongly preferred).

  • Deep understanding of ASX ESG expectations, Australian regulatory standards, and global frameworks

  • Strong knowledge of responsible gaming principles, gaming industry regulatory environments, or highly regulated industries (e.g., fintech, entertainment, consumer tech).

  • Exceptional executive communication skills, including Board-level interaction experience.

Preferred

  • Communication skills experience, including business writing capabilities

  • Experience working with global, matrixed organizations with significant US and APAC operations.

  • Background in corporate governance, legal, compliance, or public affairs.

  • Experience with environmental impact programs (carbon reduction, sustainable supply chain, energy initiatives).

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional change.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • ESG frameworks mastery: ISSB/IFRS S1 & S2, GRI, SASB, TCFD; ASX governance fluency.

  • Executive communication (Boardlevel briefings, investor decks, media statements); ability to influence crossfunctionally.

  • Analytical rigour (KPI design, materiality/peer benchmarking, scenario analysis).

  • Program leadership (portfolio planning, change management, assurance readiness).

  • Relationship building with investors, regulators, proxy advisors, and NGOs.

  • Strong organization, prioritization, and execution discipline; ability to manage multiple timelines.

  • Willingness and ability to travel, including internationally

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements are consistent with office environment. May require domestic and international travel. May require weekend and evening hours. Comply with Corporate Dynamic Work Environment (i.e. RTO, 3 days a week in office) policy.
