Duties & Responsibilities	Teach courses and direct production studies to undergraduate and graduate students in some of the following topics: Scenic design Period styles Drafting Props Instruct and supervise scenic design and technology students for all productions in the theatre programs. Demonstrate comprehensive education practices in the design program through teaching, mentoring, and related activities. Collaborate in the evolution of design courses to reflect a wide range of contemporary entertainment trends. Direct MFA thesis and BFA capstone projects for scenic design and technology students. Design at least one theatre production.
Minimum Qualifications	BS or BA degree and 3 years of professional experience are required. Professional experience must include experience as a scenic designer, CAD drafting, model making, painting, drawing and digital imaging.
