Deskside Support/PC Technician - 1st shift

NTS IS HIRING DESKSIDE SUPPORT/PC TECHNICIAN, CULPEPER, VA

* Extensive knowledge of Windows operating up to 10/11/systems including how to install the latest OS patches
* Extensive knowledge of MAC's operating systems including how to install the latest OS patches
* Knowledge of multiple antivirus solutions
* Able to adequately describe two-factor authentication
* Able to adequately explain how Virtual Private Network (VPN) works
* Knowledge on viruses and malware and how to clean an infected computer properly
* Programming experience preferred
* Basic pc repair knowledge
* Red Hat/Centos or Linux experience preferred
* Ability and willingness to train team members on NAC troubleshooting techniques and additional IT Security initiatives such as DropBox

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related field
  2 years of relevant technical experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17 - $19 per hour, depending on skills and experience plus benefits
