General Job Description Job Summary We are hiring an experienced HVAC Service Area Manager to lead daily service operations in the North Houston/Conroe area. This role oversees a team of technicians, ensures high-quality service delivery, and drives customer satisfaction, safety, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Lead, coach, and develop HVAC service technicians Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and customer service Operations & Scheduling Manage service schedules, dispatching, and workload distribution Ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery Customer Service Serve as primary escalation point for customer concerns Build strong relationships with residential and/or commercial clients Technical Support Provide hands-on support for complex diagnostics and repairs Ensure all work meets code, safety, and manufacturer standards Performance & Financial Management Monitor KPIs including labor, margins, and callbacks Conduct ride-alongs, evaluations, and coaching sessions Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies Lead safety meetings and job site audits Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications Qualifications HVAC experience with 2+ years in leadership or management Valid HVAC license and EPA certification (required) Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and codes Experience with dispatch/service management software Excellent leadership and communication skills Valid driver's license with clean record Must pass background check and drug screen Physical Requirements Lift up to 50-75 lbs Work in attics, rooftops, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders Work Environment Mix of office and field work Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Exposure to Texas weather conditions Occasional evenings/weekends as needed License Required Yes Job Locations US-TX-Conroe Company Overview IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.
