ChristianaCare is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our Pediatric Associates department in Middletown, DE.

ChristianaCare Pediatrics at Whitehall provides high-quality, compassionate pediatric care to infants and children throughout Delaware. Our practice focuses on promoting healthy development, preventive care, and trusted partnerships with families to support children's health at every stage.

This role is wellsuited for an MA who is organized, adaptable, and trusted to work independently, while also collaborating seamlessly with providers and team members to deliver highquality, compassionate care.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

• Occasional cross coverage at the Newark practice

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant II ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, assists providers during virtual and in-person appointments, and acts as a leader and mentor to office staff to promote effective workflow and team collaboration.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program and hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

• Two years' experience as a Medical Assistant, is required, three years' is preferred.
