Overview

Supports the Executive Vice Presidents in managing day-to-day operations and advancing key priorities for VNS Health Plans. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to the health plans business and contribute to a range of administrative and operational functions. Works under general supervision.

What You Will Do

  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily operations and administration of the EVP's office
  • Assists with preparation of correspondence, reports, presentations, and other materials
  • Reviews, tracks, analyzes, and summarizes agency and departmental data and reports
  • Maintains calendars, including tracking deadlines, recurring reports, and key deliverables; follows up on outstanding items
  • Monitors progress against goals and supports timely completion of assignments
  • Coordinates and supports special projects; conducts analysis and provides recommendations as needed
  • Addresses administrative and policy-related matters within established guidelines
  • Responds to inquiries from staff and external stakeholders
  • Attends meetings, documents key discussion points, and follows up on action items
  • May represent the EVP at meetings, as appropriate
  • Reviews monthly G/L activity and assists with annual budget tracking; monitors business expenditures for relevant cost centers
  • Utilizes appropriate systems and software to support the EVP and team
  • Manages incoming calls, correspondence, and mail; ensures timely routing and follow-up
  • Maintains organized files and records
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:
High School Diploma or the equivalent Required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum of four years of progressive administrative, business or office management experience Required
Proficient with personal computers, including Microsoft Windows: Word, Excel, and Access Required
Effective oral/written communication and interpersonal skills Required
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Required


Pay Range

USD $37.32 - USD $46.66 /Hr.
