Packaging Engineer Coordinator

Position: Packaging Engineering Coordinator (Contract)

Location: Clark, NJ (Onsite)

Pay: $38 - $48/hour

Duration: 4-6 Months

Travel: <10%

We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Engineering Coordinator to support packaging development projects through data analysis, specification creation, and lab testing. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment working closely with engineering, labs, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze packaging data (weights, dimensions, materials, configurations).
• Interpret supplier data and ensure alignment with internal specifications and standards.
• Input and manage data within Excel, specifications, and internal systems.
• Read and translate technical drawings and packaging specifications.
• Create and maintain BOMs, component specs, and finished goods documentation.
• Organize and manage packaging samples and materials.
• Prepare test requests and samples for lab evaluation.
• Support lab testing activities and document results and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure project accuracy and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in packaging engineering, product development, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CAD tools.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage data and documentation accurately.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
