Job Description

The Innovation, Customer Experience and Direct Sales Communications Manager leads the strategy and execution of integrated communications that help bring innovative ideas and customer obsession to life. This role develops, plans, implements and manages communication programs that strengthen Allstate's competitive advantage, build trust with internal and external stakeholders and reinforce a purpose-driven culture.
This role partners closely with leaders across the enterprise to support key growth initiatives, including product and feature launches, while ensuring clear, consistent and data driven messaging across channels. By orchestrating complex communication programs, elevating enterprise storytelling and institutionalizing scalable communication processes, the manager drives clarity, adoption and measurable business and reputation outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Strategic Communications - Shape integrated communication strategies by translating research, data and external trends into bold, actionable recommendations that build reputation, trust and advocacy for Allstate.
  • Champion Culture, Change and Purpose - Lead communications that advance Allstate's purposedriven culture, model adaptability through change and influence others with a confident, human and optimistic approach.
  • Own Complex Communication Initiatives - Develop, plan and lead endtoend communication programs and projects, aligning key Allstate stakeholders, while navigating complexity and competing priorities.
  • Drive Stakeholder Outcomes - Design and execute short and longterm strategies that engage Allstate's key stakeholders with a clear focus on outcomes to strengthen enterprise reputation.
  • Use Data to Inform Decisions and Direction - Interpret stakeholder insights to evaluate effectiveness, guide strategy adjustments and elevate the impact of communications.
  • Elevate Allstate's Storytelling - With a mindset of curiosity, develop integrated, enterpriselevel stories that reinforce Allstate as innovative, customercentric and caring, partnering closely with PR, media and enterprise teams.
  • Serve as a Trusted Strategic Advisor - Provide communication counsel to leaders and business partners, influence decisionmaking and act as a connector across teams and external partners.
  • Lead HighImpact Experiences - Own planning and execution of key meetings and events from strategy through delivery, ensuring experiences reflect the Allstate brand standards.
  • PR/Media Relations & Issues Management: Partner with the enterprise PR team to develop content for owned, earned and paid media, as well as internal channels. Proactively identify and help mitigate reputational risks by working closely with the Issues Team.
  • Resource Allocation & Budget Management (as required): Support budgeting and monthly forecasting; manage external/vendor relationships in alignment with Communications goals and corporate policies.

EXPERIENCE

  • 10 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 98,100.00 - 167,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
