Job Description

Daily Responsibilities
-Inspecting of the equipment daily (grinder fuctionality, safety guards etcs.)
-Unjam any parts in conveyors
-Managing regrind into machine by review material makeup
-Regrind/scrap storage of materials (totes, bags, lids and labels)
-Segragrate scrap by charitoritics (Floor sweeps, Lined, Purge, Startups etc.)
-Properly label product as needed
-Submit staged regrind paperwork for tracking and trending

Ongoing Improvement Tasks
-Work with warehouse on staging of regrind for upcoming orders
-Review where regrind can be used with scheduling for consumption
-Review production floor for scrap and regind improvement opportunitys with Prod Manager

Completes required documentation.
-Update excel sheet with regrind on hand by segration of product makeup
-Daily machine inspection checklist
-Scrap log when needed

Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/SQF Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

Manufacturing environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (for lines that do not have a lift assitant)

Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Pay: The starting pay for this rate is $19.50. Based on experience, the hourly pay range for this role is $19.50 to $21.00.
