Credit Analyst Intern (May 2026 - May 2027)

CCFBank is currently searching for a Credit Analyst Intern to join our team! During this internship you will learn how to gather and analyze credit information on current and potential borrowers; determine the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans; assist loan officers in writing loan requests; promote business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

This internship is onsite in Eau Claire, WI from May 2026 - May 2027.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
• Gather data from customers, internal and outside sources; prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns; obtains additional information and clarification of data.
• Comply data from credit bureaus, conducts industry peer comparisons, and performs cash flow analyses and other such tasks and comparisons.
• Obtain sufficient information and/or documentation from customers.
• Verifie collateral and lien position
• Develop knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, rates, vendors and competition.
• Communicate with Ag/Commercial Bankers when working credits, spreads, and ticklers
• Assure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations; adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
• Perform site visits and or customer meetings with banker with current customer

Education and Experience

• Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or related field.
• Must possess a minimum or 3.0 (out of a 4 point scale) overall GPA.
• Junior or Senior classification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills required.
• Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
