The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is a state wide campus, with faculty based on University campuses, at Research and Extension Centers and in every Arkansas county. It consists of the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) and the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service (CES), and is home to more than 1400 employees. uada.edu Summary of Job Duties:Provide leadership to the Arkansas 4-H Civic Engagement and Leadership program statewide. This includes curriculum development and review, state event coordination, volunteer and staff training, communication, and scholarship at the state level and beyond.

Provide leadership to state officer team, ambassador program, and Teen Leader Conference.

Program planning and revision for new and continuing project areas in 4-H.
Collaboration and partnership development with stakeholders, extension agents and
faculty to disseminate and develop 4-H project materials to youth in Arkansas.
Develop new, and nurture existing partnerships with research faculty and extension
personnel in the Division of Agriculture.

Develop evaluation and reporting tools to tell the story of 4-H Leadership and Civic Engagement in Arkansas.

Provide supervision and support to 1-2 staff members.

Engage in professional development to support personal growth and develop or strengthen professional skills. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

A Master's degree in leadership, education, or a related field of study is required. Degree must be conferred by the date of hire.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, datamanagement, & email programs. A high level of technical competence in the area of responsibility.Ability to develop & deliver quality presentations. Ability to exercise initiative, make soundjudgments, & work without close supervision. Ability to relate & respond to the needs ofsupervisors, subordinates, & clientele.
