DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this IT Tech position, you will be an integral member of the Scheduling Unit team, which is responsible for the day-to-day operations, and handle the interaction with this team and ISO TSO Account Administration team. This includes implementing the methods of computer operations in order to meet all scheduled deadlines, multitasking, prioritizing work assignments, and handling phone calls professionally. Work involves configuring and monitoring operation control and cross platform scheduler software, monitoring the mainframe database, and unlocking and resetting account passwords. Our team will rely on you to act as a liaison between outsource personnel and technical operations staff. Your keen eye for detail and proactive communication skills will be key for notifying database administrators concerning database issues; notifying distributed system administrators concerning server issues; and notifying application developers and administrators concerning batch issues. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as an IT Help Desk Technician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience providing IT support services involving hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance; or
- One year of experience providing IT support services involving hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance and completion of a one-year apprenticeship in the IT technical support field; or
- An associate degree in an IT field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
