What to Expect
The New Programs Engineering team works at the front-end of vehicle design and development, working in an iterative environment to study, simulate, build, and prove Tesla's future generation of vehicles.The Sr. Product Analystwill be part ofNewPrograms Engineeringteamresponsible formaximizingthe probability ofmarket successof new vehiclesbased on first principles.This position requires frequent interaction with ourdesign,vehicle attribute,engineering,benchmarking,programs, finance, and global salesteamsto ensure we derive the maximum impact of new products.Success in this role requires a solid foundationtoidentifymarket opportunities, create customer insight and evolution,derive (competitor)product weaknesses and strengths, and interpret regulations/tariffs.Additionally, you will lead the management ofsynthesizing disparate data sources into a commondatabaseleveragingAI for analysis.You will be tasked to define feature sets,establishtrims, and derive volumes by synthesizing these metrics using a multitude of data sources (sales data, internal customer feedback, syndicatedstudies of new vehicle buyers, customizednewsurveys).The successful candidate must have stronginterpersonal and communication skills. They must be able to balance depth and breadth with engineering requirements, market data, customerinsightand develop algorithms to synthesize strategic proposals and present/defend them in working/program/executive meetings. Additionally, they mustestablishand maintain a professional working relationship with various internal teams.

  • Establish product strategies and plans for future Tesla vehicles and mobility solutions
  • Translate market analysis into action items for executives, designers, and engineers
  • Structure existing data sources to maximize AI analysis
  • Perform analysis to understand if change initiatives are providing value intended
  • Identifyissuesthatimpactcustomer satisfaction, product performance, and holding our business back from scale

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanicalengineering or equivalent experience

  • Experience collecting and curating data from different teams andreorganizingimperfect legacy databasesthat can beoptimizedfor AI powered analysis
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills and a team mentality

  • Experience driving impactful business actionsowning your work downstream

  • Familiarity withelectric vehicles, automotive design,isa strong plus

    Expected Compensation
    $87,020 - $185,820/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
