DAS Installation Technician - Coax / Structured Cabling Healthcare \| Long Island, NY \| 6-Month Contract TEKsystems is looking for an experienced DAS Installation Technician for a 6-month contract at Bayshore Hospital in Long Island, NY. You'll be part of a structured cabling team installing a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) in an active healthcare environment. This is a Monday through Friday role with a 6am start time. If you're experienced with coax installation and termination, hold your OSHA 30 and SST cards, and are comfortable working in a hospital setting, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing * Installing support structures for cable pathways throughout the facility * Running, installing, and securing -inch coax cable through ceilings, risers, conduits, and structured pathways * Terminating coax cable for DAS systems - cutting, stripping jacket, exposing conductor, cleaning, installing connectors, and testing * Following all hospital safety protocols and maintaining a professional presence in an active healthcare environment What We're Looking For * Proven experience installing support structures for cabling * Hands-on experience running and securing -inch coax cable through ceilings, risers, and conduit * Skilled in coax termination for DAS systems - this is a core requirement * OSHA 30 certification - required * SST card - required * Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6am start Nice to Have * Scissors lift certification or experience Why This Role * 6-month contract with a well-established TEKsystems structured cabling partner * Consistent Monday through Friday schedule - no weekend work * High-profile healthcare project at Bayshore Hospital Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bay Shore, NY.
