Job Description

The Audiologist provides comprehensive hearing care across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is responsible for conducting evaluations, managing patient care, and maintaining accurate records-all while working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform diagnostic hearing and hearing aid evaluations, including cerumen management as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide reports to internal teams and external agencies
  • Manage scheduling and determine appropriate referrals (ENT, ER, clinic, etc.)
  • Monitor patient needs and ensure timely follow-up care
  • Order and maintain audiology equipment, hearing aids, and office supplies
  • Stay current on advancements in audiology practice
  • Promote quality improvement, patient safety, and culturally responsive care
  • Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to all patients
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's degree in Audiology
  • Licensed Audiologist in the state of Missouri
  • Excellent hearing ability
  • Strong verbal communication skills for patient interaction and assessment
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting

Preferred

  • Knowledge of sign language
