Chemical Operator, Mon-Fri, 6:30-2:30 pm

The Role:

Our site in Aurora Illinois is seeking a Chemical Operator This is an opening for an Operations Associate in the Slurries Production Division on the 1st Shift - an excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those with chemical batch manufacturing experience.

What You'll Do:

• Produce, package and prepare Entegris products for shipment.

• Weighs, measures & verifies raw materials to make sure batches are made with the proper ingredients in precise quantities.

• Receive raw material and containers.

• Perform required data entry, recordkeeping, and make material transactions in the ERP system.

• Perform required quality testing and inspections.

• Maintain safe and clean working environment.

• Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.

• Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.

• Contribute to plant safety initiatives.

• Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation).

What We Seek:

Technical- Mechanical or Chemistry-related experience, hobbies/interests are usually a good fit here.

Computer- Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, knowledge of Excel, ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.

Behavioral- Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn new things, attention to detail and dedication to come to work on time/have reliable attendance is the type of individual who thrives in our environment.

Education- HS Diploma/GED Required

Experience- One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrates leadership ability and team building skills.

Physical -Requires manual lifting of up to 45 lbs., ability to wear respirator intermittently, as needed.

• Shift Schedules:

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM

• Overtime may be required, based on business needs, and weekend shifts will vary when needed.

• We care about cleanliness, and the use of PPE. PPE includes - steel toe shoes (provided by us), safety glasses. Additional PPE required for certain job functions, such as full-face mask.

• Pay range for this position is $22.00-$24.00 depending upon experience.
