This position is responsible for leading a team of Sherwin-Williams' Sales Representatives within a District, resulting in improved sales, expense and profit performance, reduced turnover, improved personnel development, and better service to wholesale customers. In this position, you will work with Sales Reps to improve wholesale selling activities of each market, assist sales calls, and provide necessary input on product recommendations.

This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.   • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Manage employee training, development, and performance management for Sales Reps
  • Monitor sales dollars, gallons, gross margin, and other metrics for each territory
  • Partner with local store and branch management to ensure customer needs are met
  • Select, assign, and control accounts in territories
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan to expand customer base and ensure strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Must have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • Must have at least one (1) year of work experience as a Sales Representative selling paint, paint related products, and/or floorcovering
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have at least three (3) years of work experience as a Sales Representative selling paint, paint related products, and/or floorcovering
  • Have at least three (3) years of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience as a Store Manager, Commercial Branch Manager or Branch Sales Manager for Sherwin-Williams or other retail paint store
  • Have at least an associate's degree in business, sales, or marketing
  • Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
