DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Custodial Worker 1, you will be responsible for the general care and maintenance of the facility's buildings and grounds. Primary duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, buffing, and waxing floors to ensure a professional environment. You will maintain restrooms by thoroughly cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, and showers, while ensuring that supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are consistently stocked in designated areas. In addition to managing waste disposal and recycling, you will be expected to maintain the exterior premises by clearing walkways of snow, ice, and litter, as well as applying salt to ensure safe passage during winter months. Furthermore, this role involves moving furniture and equipment to facilitate deep cleaning and assisting with the loading, unloading, and distribution of troop supplies and deliveries. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
