Requisition Number: 104397 Job Title: Azure / AWS Infrastructure Engineer (Azure-Focused) Location: Remote Salary: Dependent on experience, the range is $120,000 to $160,000 a year plus full benefit Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Azure / AWS Infrastructure Engineer with a strong Azure focus to support cloud infrastructure initiatives in a client-facing, DevOps oriented environment. This role blends hands on cloud engineering with Agile delivery, infrastructure lifecycle management, and strong business and documentation skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across technical and nontechnical stakeholders while supporting modern cloud and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support cloud infrastructure solutions with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and secondary exposure to AWS
- Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, scalability, and reliability
- Partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs
- Support DevOps practices, including infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration with development teams
- Participate in Agile delivery teams, contributing within Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile frameworks
- Use tools such as Jira to track work, manage backlogs, and support sprint planning and delivery
- Contribute to project and lifecycle management, from requirements gathering through implementation and support
- Assist in business analysis activities, translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Produce clear, concise technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, standards, and client-facing documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure, processes, and delivery practices
Required Qualifications
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure (primary) and AWS (secondary)
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure engineering (compute, networking, storage, security)
- Experience working in client-facing or customer-focused environments
- Exposure to or hands on experience with DevOps tools and practices
- Practical experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or similar)
- Familiarity with Jira or similar Agile/project tracking tools
- Experience with project management or infrastructure lifecycle management
- Ability to perform business analysis and work across technical and business teams
- Strong technical writing skills with experience creating clear, structured documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ104, AZ305)
- AWS certifications
- Experience supporting enterprise or regulated environments
- Exposure to automation and infrastructure-as-code tools
