As a Senior Associate, PDMA & Sample Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting compliance activities related to the Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA) and pharmaceutical sample management within our commercial operations. This onsite position is based at our Fort Worth, Texas Main Campus and partners closely with crossfunctional stakeholders to ensure sample distribution, documentation, reconciliation, and monitoring activities are executed in full alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

In this role, you will apply professional judgment to identify and assess compliance risks, support audits and investigations, and help promote consistent, compliant sample management practices across the organization. You'll contribute to a strong culture of integrity and accountability, ensuring Alcon continues to operate with the highest standards while supporting the needs of our customers and the patients they serve.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Support PDMA and sample management compliance activities, including tracking, reconciliation, and documentation of pharmaceutical samples.
  • Perform routine monitoring and review of sample transactions to assess compliance with PDMA requirements and internal standards.
  • Support oversight of sample distribution processes, including alignment with approved systems, forms, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Assist with internal audits, compliance reviews, and external inspections related to sample management and PDMA compliance.
  • Identify potential compliance gaps, trends, or deviations and support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) development.
  • Partner with Commercial, Sales Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Quality teams to reinforce compliant sample handling practices.
  • Contribute to training, communications, and continuous improvement initiatives related to PDMA and sample compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with data integrity and recordretention requirements.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.;
  • Assoc.+6 yrs.; M.S.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Preferredrequirements:

  • Typically 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical compliance, commercial operations, quality, or a regulated environment.
  • Experience supporting PDMA, sample management, audits, or monitoring programs preferred.
  • Working knowledge of PDMA, pharmaceutical sample management, and commercial compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of regulations and ethical standards governing interactions with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and identify compliance risks or trends.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and crossfunctional collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently on defined activities and escalate complex or highrisk issues appropriately.
