Title: Electrician
Location: Mcintosh, AL
Salary: $45.49/Hr

Focus: The Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems and related components for industrial machinery and equipment.
Electrician Essential Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions to determine installs, repairs and/or maintenance of power supply wiring, motors, electrical operating equipment, alarm systems, switches, relays and fixtures
- Inspect and maintain transformers, buss bars, circuit breakers and wiring connections in power distribution substations
- Troubleshooting electrical equipment, switchgears, controls and wiring using testing equipment
- Testing continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of the components using voltmeters, ohmmeters and meggers
- Reading and interpreting work orders, technical descriptions and safety manuals including NEC and ANSI
- Preparing maintenance or repair plans, including calculations of materials and personnel needs
- Using tools, equipment and materials such as voltage testers, various hand and/or power tools, mounting devices, boxes and receptacles, conduit, conductors, blueprints and schematics, switches, relays, alarm systems, motors, starters and fixtures.
Electrician Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Journeymen Electrician certification or at least 5 years' experience as an electrician in an industrial setting
- Strong mechanical, numerical and verbal aptitude
- Basic math and problem solving and computer abilities
- Experience using Microsoft Office products preferred
- Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
