Position Summary

Students who Intern with the Manufacturing Engineering team at Parker EMOE will work hand in hand with a Manufacturing Engineer on active projects. The projects our students have worked on in the past range from small assembly fixtures to large, automated equipment. Project work includes concept brainstorming, project budgeting, CAD design with Autodesk Inventor, machine drawing development, equipment assembly, capability and gauge R&R testing, and implementation for production readiness. Students who work with our Manufacturing Engineering group will learn while doing and participate in every aspect of project management. We believe a good internship experience will prepare the student for their careers and provide Parker EMOE with quality engineering work. The Manufacturing Engineering team at Parker EMOE is a dynamic and fun group that will provide the foundation necessary for a successful career in Manufacturing Engineering.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in a degree program aiming for a BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar Engineering focus. Sophomore status or higher.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must have strong computer skills, CAD software experience (Inventor or Pro E/Creo preferred)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
  • Must have the ability to work legally in the US without sponsorship.
