The Corporate Strategy Manager drives strategic impact by leading the development and implementation of high-profile initiatives in support of Valley's strategic objectives. This position will collaborate closely with internal business leaders and cross-functional partners to develop and drive business-unit level strategic plans, in line with Valley's mission and vision, review and report on monthly progress metrics and produce quarterly analytics on the key strategic initiatives that drive Valley's success.

• Effective influencing skills. Ability to build rapport and credibility with senior-level business partners and work with various levels of the organization.
• Fluent in financial language of banking industry, and well-versed in the needs, priorities, and cross-currents impacting the Regional Bank sector; as well as the specific opportunities and challenges impacting the Middle Market, Business Banking, and Small Business and Consumer Banking businesses.
• Strategic growth mindset and results orientation.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, project management or strategy/finance role within the financial services industry.

• Master of Business Administration. Experience with Banks.
