WORK SHIFT: First Shift (United States of America)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for wrapping and staging products for shipment, which includes but is not limited to moving finished goods product to designated locations, performing move ticket and license plate transactions, plus maintaining a clean and organized work environment by performing the following duties. Supports production assembly lines by procuring, staging, and removing WIP products, finished goods, and cartons in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Moves or stacks boxes to assure they are in orderly fashion before wrapping. Move marked pallets to designated staging locations with forklift or pallet jack. Ensures marked pallets are wrapped and any other pallet or gaylord as directed per established guidelines. Creates move ticket and license plate transactions utilizing Intermec scanner. Shrink wrap pallets by hand held unit. Makes sure identification form of pallet is visible through stretch wrap. Request additional plastic wrap when necessary and distributes. Reads documents or follows oral instructions to ascertain product to be moved. Notes location and contents of damaged box before they are removed for re-boxing. Monitors floor inventory levels and perform transactions as needed Monitor floor WIP and Finished Goods production and perform transactions as needed. Communicates with Manager, Area Supervisor, Mold Techs and Packers as needed to keep everyone aware of schedule status. Clean work environment by picking up miscellaneous debris, emptying trash containers and sweeping. May use forklift to transport trash bins for emptying. Perform cycle counting and related transactions Perform year-end inventory and related transactions Ability to work as an MTC Packer as needed. Ability to assist Area Supervisor with quality checks Loads and unloads trailers - Finished goods pallets and WIP gaylords Investigates transaction errors utilizing the AS-400 computer system Delivers and removes WIP products and cartons for the Cam Shelving, Dishrack and Cold Fest assembly lines Provides forklift support for the Textile department.
Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization. Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully. Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions. Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect. Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects. Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Understands department's key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team. Other duties as needed or required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English is required. Mathematical skills - Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to successfully operate a sit-down forklift and the reach truck equipment Experience using previous warehouse management system to perform system transactions. Valid driver's license and forklift certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual in Spanish Currently forklift certified Experience with Prism, Intermec, and/or AS400 system
