You will play an essential role in managing and delivering effective, responsive, technically accurate, and safe solutions for commercial and industrial clients and will play a key role in mentoring and training our team members. Your Responsibilities as an Assistant Environmental Project Manager:
- Provide technical oversight andperform project work.
- Write and review technical reports andproposals.
- Assist with project management activities.
- Mentor and train scientific staff andsupervise work.

What we're looking for:
- Support management and execution of environmental due diligence and environmental compliance projects.
- Support management and execution of property condition evaluations and stormwater compliance and permitting projects.
- Provide technical oversight and perform project field investigations work.
- Write and review technical reports and proposals.
- Manage project technical and project budgets under senior oversight
- Assist with project management activities.
- Mentor and train project team members scientific staff and supervise work.
- Ensure safe performance of project work.
- Actively develop your own career growth
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or other related field.
- 5+ years of experience with technical execution, project management, and client delivery with environmental services including technical writing and providing technical oversight.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a desire to learn and support a variety of projects.
- Ability to work with senior management to plan/schedule/delegate tasks, and communicate project tasks results to the client.
- Excellent communicator of project tasks, schedule, and project status to the project team and senior management.
- Ability and desire to mentor and train team members staff and communicate project tasks to field team members.
- Ability to manage projects from kickoff through client delivery within budget.
- Ability to identify out of scope tasks and communicate those to the senior project manager and client.
- Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
- Supports development of new opportunities with direct involvement of senior management.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
- Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong technical competence and regulatory knowledge in OH, KY, IN is desired.
- Strong technical competence and regulatory knowledge in USEPA, RCRA, CERCLA, USACE, and CWA is a plus.
- Familiarity with Ohio EPA Voluntary Action Program, Kentucky Brownfield Program, Indiana Brownfields program is a plus.
- Property Condition Assessment experience is a plus.
- Industrial hygiene (asbestos, lead) experience and/or a desire to become certified is a plus
