The Role

In this role, you'll demonstrate your analytical abilities and support the successful execution of project goals and deliverables. You'll have the chance to make a significant impact by addressing unique business challenges in both client and internal projects.

Requirements

Education & Eligibility

  • Current undergraduate student entering either their 3rd year of a 4-year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5-year program (Spring 2027 Grad)
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Must be able to spend the summer in our downtown Chicago office, personal preference and circumstances will be taken into consideration for any remote candidates who are unable to be on site

Skills & Abilities

  • Hands-on experience with Agentic AI and Generative AI systems
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts such as classification, clustering, feature engineering, and model evaluation
  • Understanding of generative AI tools and their applications in analytics and automation
  • Knowledge in Agentic AI system using Strands SDK (or equivalent) and inferencing approaches
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in data science and analytics
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging data science tools and technologies
  • Ability to approach problem-solving with logical, analytical, and data-driven thinking
  • Capable of understanding business objectives and using data to craft and deliver meaningful insights and solutions
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (such as Power BI or Tableau), with the ability to further develop and apply these skills
  • Works effectively both independently and collaboratively in project teams
  • Excited to support Data Science team in developing innovative, data-driven solutions for clients

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree/Major in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 3.3 or higher cumulative and major GPA
  • Relevant work experience, including internships, summer positions, or part-time jobs
  • Active involvement in university clubs or organizations related to consulting, business, or leadership, showcasing relevant skills and interests

Compensation

The estimated pay rate for this position is $33 / hr. Please note that this estimated rate is a guideline and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
