Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) is a focused product line within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing a diverse portfolio of highly purified specialty gases to our customers. The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.

Perform the work with the utmost regard for the safety and health of all involved. Understand and comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while on company or customer property. Report any accident, incident and near miss.

Understand and comply with the established Quality System and report any deficiencies and stop any plant operation if is it compromising the quality process.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the loading and unloading of cylinder trucks by utilizing cylinder handling equipment in a team-oriented environment.

  • Carefully inspect containers in alignment with DOT regulations and Air Liquide SOPs to ensure the highest standards.

  • Prepare cylinders as per work order instructions, contributing to the success of the following processes:

    • Shot blasting

    • Acid washing

    • Water washing

    • Dressing outlet threads of cylinders.

    • Painting

    • Stamping

    • Re-valving

    • Pressure testing

    • Vacuum baking

    • Leak checking

  • Maintain a clean and organized general work area by contributing to our 5S methodology.

  • Follow written protocols and help identify the ideal preparation procedures for a given product grade and service.

  • Perform minor inspections and/or preventive maintenance on equipment; we will provide the necessary partnership and support to help you initiate the proper resolution of equipment issues.

  • Understand and follow SOPs while being encouraged to share your ideas for potential improvements with the team.

  • Select the most effective packaging for a given product through collaborative autonomy.

Required Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Adapt to a teamwork environment

  • Have a full range of motion and be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.

  • Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment

  • Good mechanical skills and aptitude

  • Ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations
