The Sourcing Intern will support the Global/Regional Sourcing function by assisting with supplier data management, spend analysis, sourcing initiatives, and process improvement activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to strategic sourcing and procurement operations within a global organization, offering the opportunity to build analytical, communication, and business skills while contributing to real-world sourcing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sourcing team with data collection, analysis, and reporting related to supplier spend, cost savings, and sourcing initiatives

  • Assist in maintaining supplier records, contracts, and sourcing documentation

  • Participate in supplier research, benchmarking, and market analysis

  • Support sourcing projects, RFQs/RFPs, and cost comparison activities as directed

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Operations, Finance, Quality) to gather information and support sourcing objectives

  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and documentation of standard work

  • Prepare presentations and summary materials for internal stakeholders

  • Support planning and coordination for the annual Supplier Summit, including assisting with logistics, supplier communications, agenda materials, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Interest in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or operations

  • Prior internship or coursework related to supply chain or business analytics preferred
