Requisition Summary:
The Technical Support Analyst supports night shift production operations by ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems across the plant environment. This role provides hands-on technical support during off-hours manufacturing operations, partners closely with operations and vendors, and ensures effective shift handoffs to maintain manufacturing uptime and user productivity.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
* Provide on-site technical support for night shift production operations and limited office users.
* Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests using the enterprise ticketing system.
* Support plant-critical applications, workstations, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
* Perform installation, configuration, imaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of PCs and related hardware.
* Support Windows 11 environments and Active Directory user and device administration.
* Assist with basic server administration tasks under guidance (Windows Server, file shares, permissions).
* Maintain patching and endpoint compliance in alignment with corporate security standards.
* Partner with production, engineering, and manufacturing teams to support plant systems and shop-floor technology during night operations.
* Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve production-impacting issues occurring after normal business hours.
* Support hardware and software used in manufacturing, quality, and logistics environments.
* Security, Documentation & Process Improvement
* Follow cybersecurity, access control, and change management policies.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset records, and procedures.
* Participate in IT audits, system reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist with projects such as system upgrades, application rollouts, and hardware refresh cycles, including overnight activities when required.
* Work independently with minimal supervision during night shift hours.
* Serve as the primary IT point of contact during assigned night shift hours.
* Provide clear and thorough shift handoff documentation to day shift support teams.
* Provide after-hours, weekend, or holiday support as required by production schedules.
* Adhere to all PACCAR, Kenworth, and site-specific safety, security, and compliance requirements.
* Demonstrate accountability for incident ownership through resolution and proper escalation.
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
* Maintain professionalism and effective communication when interacting with all levels of the organization.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:
* 1-3 years of relevant IT support or technical analyst experience.
* Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and enterprise environments.
* Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and basic networking concepts.
* Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, peripheral, and printer issues.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to clearly communicate technical information verbally and in writing.
* Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
* Ability to prioritize tasks with strong organizational skills.
* Ability to diagnose and replace PC components.
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting manufacturing or plant-floor IT environments.
* Knowledge of Windows Server administration and virtualization concepts.
* Familiarity with endpoint management, patching tools, and backup solutions.
* Exposure to networking equipment (e.g., Cisco switches, basic troubleshooting).
* Experience with SQL Server, IIS, or production-critical applications.
* Understanding of ITIL practices, incident/change management, or Six Sigma concepts.
* Microsoft and/or CompTIA certifications.

Education/Training: Previous experience building and deploying PCs and hardware required. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required; Microsoft and/or CompTIA Certifications preferred.
