About this SVP, Senior Client Officer role:

This role is focused on the tech sector, where the SVP SCO will join a high performing team that covers one of Ipsos' largest tech clients. This SVP SCO role will focus on developing new relationships, developing new buying points, and driving growth in new areas with one major diversified and large tech client. This SVP SCO position has high visibility within the Ipsos organization, reporting to the EVP of the Tech, Media, Telecomm (TMT) sector at Ipsos US. This SVP SCO will interact with other executive stakeholders at Ipsos, including Service Line Leaders, and Global Account Leaders.

Those in this role are senior business people focused on identifying and reeling in new opportunities. They do so by leveraging their networks, industry events, LinkedIn, and by building compelling outreach strategies. Those on this team open new doors, bring the best Ipsos solutions to the table, and ultimately start new client relationships.

KPIs for this role:



  • Leverage your relationships, expertise, and industry cache to drive growth for Ipsos across new buying centers at this major tech company.
  • Create adjacencies for growth by leveraging Ipsos' existing work with this major tech company.
  • Collaborate with Ipsos service teams optimize offerings for growth with this major tech company.
  • Work closely alongside the Ipsos US Client Leader and Ipsos Global Client Leader for this account, to plan growth strategies, map stakeholders, and coordinate across the account.
  • Ensures a 'One Ipsos' approach where multiple Ipsos services combine to unlock differentiation and drive growth with this client.



Requirements for this role:



  • Proven track record in sales/business development in consumer insights, marketing research, analytics, or data.
  • Understands industry and (eventually) Ipsos-specific approaches and tools, so new client prospects feel immediate confidence that they are speaking with a senior and knowledgeable Ipsos representative. Can tie client needs to Ipsos solutions.
  • Proven track record in sales or business development in the tech or media sector.
  • High levels of collaboration and ability to achieve growth at large, matrixed companies.
  • Ability to navigate and drive growth with a large, enterprise client company comprised of a variety of complex B2C and B2B business units.
  • Datadriven approaches to growth strategy, business development planning, and internal influence and impact.
  • Already-built relevant network, and drive to also network with Ipsos experts.
  • Attention to detail to track the sales process and reporting.
  • Industry & Sector Knowledge: seeks ongoing knowledge within the sector to inform strategies.
  • Influence and relationship-building with both client prospects and internal colleagues in a respectful, positive, open, and productive manner; ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment.
  • Impactful communication and presentation skills.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $220,000 to $270,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
