Mail Carrier/ Shipping and Receiving

Job Details:

• Position: Mail Carrier/ Shipping and Receiving
• Location: Long Beach, CA, 90806
• Shift time: 8am to 4pm with 1 hour lunch
• Pay: $17/hr (Bi-weekly)
• Requirements: Covid Vaccination required, Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, the capability to stand or walk for extended periods, and computer literacy. (mailroom experience preferred),

List of Responsibilities:

• Sort mail
• Pick up/ deliver mail and shipments to corresponding recipient
• Shipping/ Receiving
• Run mail through postage and folding machines
• Create outgoing shipping labels/ Scan incoming labels
• Medhok folding
• Using systems on a daily basis such as Outlook, Excel, Genesys
• Restock floors with copy paper, envelopes, and other mailing supplies
• Support Facilities Department and other department staff upon any request they have
• Perform other tasks as assigned
• Must be flexible with scheduled hours when needed.
