Internship (No experience required) NONE NONE NONE THE OPPORTUNITY The Information Security Automation & Analytics Intern will work directly with the CISO to design and build automation solutions that streamline security reporting and metric generation. The primary objective of this role is to reduce manual reporting effort by creating automated data pipelines and dashboards that aggregate information from multiple security systems into a centralized security performance dashboard. This is a hands-on, technical internship focused on scripting, data analysis, and practical automation in a real enterprise security environment. HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT Identify repetitive reporting tasks within the Information Security team Collect data from multiple systems (e.g., ticketing platforms, vulnerability scanners, endpoint tools, identity platforms) Build scripts to extract and normalize data (Python, MSGraph, or PowerShell preferred) Design a simple data model to support recurring metrics Create dashboards or visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar) Document data sources, logic, and automation workflows Present findings and dashboard outputs to security leadership Recommend improvements to metric maturity and automation opportunities INTERN PROJECT AREAS Vulnerability remediation performance metrics Patch compliance reporting Security incident trend and SLA tracking Identity/MFA adoption metrics Control effective dashboards Executive-level security KPI summaries Automated POA&M tracking analytics WHAT SETS YOU APART You are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field You've mastered basic scripting experience (Python or PowerShell preferred) You are familiar with APIs and JSON data structures You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills You excel in an independent work environment with light guidance You are able to write in a clear manner and have excellent verbal communication skills WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT! Compensation and Benefit Information: The salary range for this position is$23 - $25 hourly. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs. Iron Bow Technologies reserves the right to fill this role at a different level, depending on qualifications and organizational priorities. This range represents only one component of Iron Bow's total compensation package.
