Position Summary: Manage and provide administrative support to the Certificate Management office. Ensure aircraft authorizations, airport approvals, and related sub-systems are maintained accurately and compliant with Company directives and FAA regulations. This management position is crucial, supporting the administration of our FAA Operations Specifications in compliance with our certificated airlines. Serves as a key liaison across departments-including Dispatch, Performance Engineering, and Safety and Regulatory Compliance, ensuring accurate, timely sharing of safety and compliance information.

Major Job Accountabilities:



  • Manage Op Spec C070, Airports Authorized for Scheduled Operations, interfacing with Performance Engineering (PE), Dispatch, and AIMS Administrator, ensuring FAA compliance.
  • Manage operations specifications and regulatory restrictions provided to critical subsystems, such as AIMS, and NavBlue to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinates with performance engineering and dispatch in the CAT II / III Foreign Terminal Instrument Procedures (FTIP) review process.
  • Collaborates with Flight Operations Safety Assurance to address safety, compliance, and FAA regulatory matters by sharing information, supporting investigations, and following up on corrective actions.
  • Coordinates Environmental Survey applications for new scheduled domestic operations by compiling required data for submission to FAA AVS Safety, Analytical & Technical Services Support.
  • Conducts internal flight standards audits and completes Data Collection Tools (DCTs) by reviewing procedures, observing operations, and documenting findings. This supports internal quality assurance efforts and prepares the organization for FAA oversight and evaluations.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the Sr. Director, Certificate Management.



Qualifications:



  • Minimum bachelor's degree in aviation, aeronautics, or a related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Flight Operations, regulatory compliance, or a similar role within a Part 121 airline environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) for data tracking, document preparation, and cross-departmental communication
  • Ability to champion cross-departmental operational solutions
  • Experience with data management systems such as Veoci, WBAT is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of 14 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) for Part 121 operation.
  • Familiarity with Safety Management System (SMS) principles.



Special demands:



  • Minimum 10% travel required
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed to support a 24-hour operational environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail. Capable of reviewing data, identifying trends, and supporting continuous improvement in safety and compliance workflows.
  • Strong technical coaching skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, supporting cross-functional coordination and task execution.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.
