As a Principal I&C Parts Project Engineer, you will support the Westinghouse Parts Business Product Management team, you'll operate at the intersection of engineering, strategy, data analytics and commercial execution, helping shape the future of instrumentation & control (I&C) spare solutions within the global nuclear energy market. You will support end-to-end product lifecycle management for instrumentation & control (I&C) spare parts supporting the global nuclear energy market by identifying growth opportunities, shaping product strategies, developing business cases and delivering innovative solutions that enhance reliability and performance. A key focus will be building and executing a proactive obsolescence management program, leveraging data analytics tools to monitor risk, prioritize actions, and develop resolution strategies.

You will report to the I&C Product Manager. This role will be based out of our Cranberry Township, PA location but can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a scalable, forward-looking obsolescence management program leveraging AI-driven insights, advanced data visualization (e.g., Power BI), and other tools. The goal of the program is to proactively identify and monitor obsolescence risk, evaluate and prioritize needs, and drive execution of optimized resolution strategies, including development of business cases to support strategic funding and pricing decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders including engineering, supply chain, sales, and operations to offer and deliver integrated, customer-centric solutions, support product lifecycle management (from market assessment through execution),
  • Drive global engagement through occasional travel to customers, suppliers, and key industry conferences
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned in support of broader Westinghouse strategic initiatives, offering a high-impact opportunity to influence both operational execution and long-term growth.



Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience or interest in AI tools, PowerBI, data visualization, and/or workflow automation
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business value



We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $103,200.00 to $129,000.00 per year.
