Position Summary The Incident Response Administrator serves as a member of the Incident Response Team (IRT), located within Residential Life and Housing Services (RLHS), to provide immediate non-clinical crisis and critical incident response to residential students during night and weekend hours. The IRT reports to the Assistant Director, Incident Response. The Incident Response Administrator responds to incidents on-site and coordinates with and supports other RLHS personnel and Resident Assistants (RAs), Counseling and Wellness Services, NYU Department of Public Safety, and NYC services including NYPD and EMS to assess incidents as they arise. The Incident Response Administrator provides consultation and support to RAs and other staff in non-critical incident response and conflict resolution, and may occasionally provide training, attend meetings, or participate in student-facing programs in these areas. The regular hours for this position are 5:00PM - 2:45AM, four shifts per week on a rotating basis, with the team operating 7 nights per week. Regular weekend/holiday coverage is required. Occasional participation in staff trainings or meetings outside of these hours may be requested. Office sites are located in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $81,827.75 to USD $100,011.69. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
