The VP Sales, Specialty Pharmacy is responsible for developing and executing Optum Specialty Pharmacy's go-to market strategy to position OptumRx as the leading provider for Specialty pharmacy. Through the sales team and in partnership with operations, clinical and marketing partners, the VP assures growth and profitability through strategic planning, anticipation of customer needs and solid customer satisfaction and developing a highly engaged salesforce. This role is responsible for profitability of its business, demonstrating a continual balance of revenue generation and cost management. The VP is responsible for motivating a team around a shared vision, cultivating a culture of inclusion and diversity, and building talent for future needs. In this leadership role you will focus growing volume organically, driving gross margin expansion, operational excellence & experience, and expanding into new lines of business. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires within 30 minutes of an office in Minnesota or Washington, D.C., you'll be required to work a minimum of four days per week in-office. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategy to meet growth goals by driving new sales, retaining existing clients and evaluating the profitability of sales relationships to increase OptumRx Specialty service adoption in an increasingly dynamic and competitive marketplace. The salary for this role will range from $200,400 to $343,500 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
