Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Initiative, ownership, and strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Understand client requirements (user stories), develop story-level designs, and translate them into deliverables
• Learn business processes and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks
• Work within an Agile environment
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and SQL statements in Oracle 19c
• Maintain re-usable development standards

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience
• Strong experience in Oracle packages, procedures, functions, and analytics functions
• Demonstrates excellent programming, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with performance tuning, including optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated experience designing solution approaches for large-scale enterprise systems
• Experience providing code reviews and mentoring across multiple agile teams
• Experience migrating to CI/CD with SDM platforms (Horizon/BitBucket/Artifactory, etc.)
• Ability to read code in multiple languages and inspect infrastructure to understand the current state

Pay range: $55.07 - $63.07 per hour
