Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.

• The Operating Room Tech will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse within the scope of practice in the surgery department.
• Responsible for the transporing of patients to and from the department.
• Responsible for collaborating with anesthesia staff and preparing operating room suites for procedures.
• Cross-trained to assist in turning over surgical suites, maintaining inventory, sterilizing equipment and providing routine maintenance on anesthesia machines.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One year of experience in healthcare
