Your Team, Your Impact

The Failure Analysis team at Marvell owns the entire Failure Analysis (FA) process for both customer returns and internal qualification and production support. This team works closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform root cause analysis and drive necessary corrective and preventive actions.

What You Can Expect

  • Own failure analysis for both customer returns and internal failures

  • Manage cross functional teams for root cause investigations and fault isolation

  • Effectively manage external physical FA labs to deliver PFA results to meet Marvell's quality and Turn Around Time (TAT) expectations.

  • Interface with customers and generate 8D reports for customer closure

  • Ensure internal partners are fully aware of the thoroughness of an FA and the expected Turn Around Time (TAT).

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, Science or related technical field

  • 3 years of experience with strong Failure Analysis Background

  • Extensive experience with RF/Silicon Photonics testing and KGD Failure Analysis

  • Experience with circuit design, IC fabrication, assembly and product testing

  • Proficiency in 8D Problem Solving process and tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with probe stations, network analyzers, and familiarity with Smith charts and Sparameters

Preferred Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Extensive Physical Failure knowledge required to drive physical root cause analysis

  • Experience in reviewing design and package layout

  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrated ability to effectively work with cross-function teams and external vendors

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

123,500 - 182,820, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
