Job Title: Cable Puller (2Week Commercial Construction Project) Location: Auburn Indiana Duration: 2 Weeks Industry: Commercial / New Construction Start Date: As soon as possible Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cable Puller to support a shortterm commercial construction project. The Cable Puller will be responsible for installing low-voltage cabling throughout a new construction environment. The ideal candidate has experience in structured cabling, works well in fast-paced job sites, and can follow direction from site leads and technicians. Key Responsibilities * Pull, route, and label lowvoltage cabling for voice, data, CCTV, access control, and other communication systems. * Assist with installing cable pathways including Jhooks, cable trays, conduit, racks, and backboards. * Terminate Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a cables (if required) with keystones, patch panels, or jacks. * Test and verify cable functionality using basic cable testers (as directed). * Maintain proper cable management standards: dressing, bundling, securing, and routing cables neatly. * Follow safety protocols and job site standards at all times. * Work alongside technicians and site supervisors to ensure timely project completion. * Lift, move, and climb ladders to perform overhead cable work. * Keep work areas clean and organized daily. Qualifications * Previous experience in commercial cabling or construction-based lowvoltage work required. * Ability to read and follow instructions, prints, and basic schematics. * Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in active construction environments. * Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently as part of a team. * PPE required: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, work boots (steel toe recommended). Schedule & Compensation * Schedule: Full-time onsite for 2 weeks (potential for additional projects). * Hours: Typically 7 AM-3:30 PM (may vary by site). * Pay: (Insert hourly rate or range). * Payroll: (W2/1099 - specify as needed). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
