Job Description

Assessment Operations Specialist
You will help students overcome technical challenges so they can successfully complete their assessments. In this role, you support students with troubleshooting, system navigation, and clear guidance, always maintaining a studentcentered approach. Your work ensures students feel confident and supported throughout their assessment experience. INTERNAL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY BY: 3/17/26Assessment Operations Specialist What you'll do
  • Assist students in resolving technical issues related to assessment platforms, tools, and systems, ensuring timely and effective solutions
  • Provide stepbystep guidance to students on accessing and using assessment systems and address common technical challenges
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries about assessments, including scheduling, policies, and procedures
  • Document support cases thoroughly and accurately in required systems and tools
  • Escalate complex technical issues to supervisors or technical support when needed
  • Share student feedback, recurring issues, and trends to support process improvements
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance workflows and stay current on system updates and best practices
What you'll bring
  • Ability to learn and navigate different technological platforms
  • Proficient use of personal computers and standard software including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills with a professional, studentfocused attitude
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and incorporate feedback from coaching and supervision

This is a fulltime, inoffice position at WGU's office in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Position & Application Details
