What to Expect
The Tour Associateis an integral part of the TourTeam and is responsible for planning, facilitating, and executing our onsite Tour Program. This includes the day-to-day management of scheduling, assisting with tour logistics, providing and ensuring excellent customer service, while acting as a Brand Ambassador for the company as an onsite Tour Guide. This team member will represent Tesla and our mission, captivate audiences with presentations, and lead tours onsite at our Manufacturing Headquarters, Giga Texas.
What You'll Do
- Work collaboratively with fast-paced cross-functional teams to create a welcoming and engaging environment for Giga Texas visitors
Welcome guests with hospitality, energy and enthusiasm, cultivating the ultimate visitor experience.Create and foster a culture of hospitality for external guests Support the tour program with scheduling, tour booking management, and tour inquiries.Communicate clearly between internal teams and external guests Collaborate with Environmental Health Safety and Security teams to uphold and iterate safety procedures and requirements in a live production factory Manage tour group itineraries (large and small) with confidentiality and discretion Analyze current systems/processes and suggest opportunities for improvement Interact with managers of different departments and cultivate partnerships with other team members to achieve tour program goals.Creates, tracks and reports program metrics for on-going program efficiency
What You'll Bring
- 5 years' high volume experience in related field and/or Degree in Hospitality, Communications, Theater, Entertainment, Broadcast Journalism, Marketing or related majoror equivalent experience
Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Confident public speaker, engaging to large audiences and in smaller groups Solid experience working with Microsoft Windows and Office which includes word, outlook, processing, spreadsheets and database programs Must be customer service oriented, accurate, organized, self-motivated, and be able to use time efficiently Experience working in time critical and fast-paced program development.Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time Evening and weekend availability as needed (approximately 15%) - Comfortable driving a vehicle through a factory environment while simultaneously articulating a captivating script
