What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated individual, with a minimum of 2 years 3D Printing experience, interested in expanding the skill sets necessary to operate Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing equipment in our rapidly growing Additive Manufacturing department.
What You'll Do
- Perform basic and advanced functions as it relates to 3D printing, required to set up builds on various systems
- Perform all functions related to machine turnaround and preparation for SLS, MJF, SLA, and FDM builds
- Part break-out and clean-up
- Maintain consumable supply inventory
- Secondary post-processing functions to include sand blasting, surfacing, and bonding parts
- Machine and material prep
What You'll Bring
- 2 years operating 3D printers and working in an Additive Manufacturing/Rapid Prototyping R&D environment or Service Bureau. Operating/troubleshooting personal hobby printers a plus
- Experience with multiple 3D printing and/or CAD software systems: 3D Sprint, PreForm, Grab Cad, Magics, Rhino
- Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as required, with little to no advance notice, and sometimes for extended periods
- Flexible, ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment, and meet tight deadlines
- Have an ability to troubleshoot machines after print failures
- Strong work ethic
- Well organized and great verbal communication skills
- This position requires a detail-oriented individual that can adapt to shifting priorities and is eager to learn all aspects of additive manufacturing

Expected Compensation
$23.18 - $47.88/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
