As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Akron, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will also support staff and visitors with a customer-service mindset while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points and public areas, assist with visitor management as directed, and/or help maintain orderly access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from appropriate resources and documenting actions taken.
• Complete routine reports and shift logs, communicate relevant observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management, and support opening and closing activities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
