As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail mall location, you will complete routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist shoppers, tenants, and staff with courteous communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, supporting mobile coverage as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter zones; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity, and request additional assistance as needed.
• Monitor for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or disorderly conduct; report hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to property management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and documentation, maintain accurate patrol logs, and communicate observations and incident updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
